Lyon Township Summer Festival

Get ready and rest up for a summer festival that’s sure to tire you out. The Lyon Summer Festival, which takes place July 16-19, 2015, has everything from concerts to laser light shows for any age.

This four-day fest kicks off with a kid’s day on Thursday starting at 1 p.m. Carnival rides, bubble parties, petting zoo and fire performers are sure to keep them busy. Toddlers can run around the bouncy house and join in on some arts and crafts activities.

After the karate club show at 3:30 p.m., Frozen fans can have ice cream with Elsa before she hits the stage at 4:30 p.m. For teens, there will be a motor sports tournament, a teen glow party in the Teen Zone Tent at 7 p.m. and fire performers at 7:30 p.m.

If you can’t make it Thursday, Friday and Saturday have all the same activities, but more! More bands will take the stage at 7 p.m. and there will be a laser light show after 10 p.m.

Pedal tractor pulls and RC racing tournaments close out the festival on Sunday.
