This is not any average boat show. While boats are a huge draw for the Metro Boat Show at Lake St. Clair Metropark, the Harrison Township event – happening Sept. 12-15, 2019 – takes it up a notch and tacks on activities for the kids, live music, food and much more.

Nautical moms and dads can appreciate the hundreds of boats of all sizes at the show – and there are some you can even board!

After, sail over to the kids zone with the little ones to meet a beautiful mermaid. They can also make a splash in the MacRay Harbor Remote Control Boat Pool, get their faces painted, jump in the bounce houses and much more.

While the kids are playing in their area, grown-ups can get in a little fun of their own during the Rendezvous at the Boat Shows Bars. Here, there’s a wide-variety of Michigan craft beer and hard ciders to choose from; plus lawn games and live music.

But that’s not all. Food trucks also set up shop at this annual and so do some must-see boats.
