Summer is upon us, and with it comes the perfect opportunity to make fun memories. What better way to bring your family together than with music? Southeast Michigan is full of summertime concerts for you and your family to enjoy.

Sound like the perfect event for you and your crew? Peruse this list to find some of the best music in the park events in Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties. Once you find the one for you, grab a blanket and head out for an evening of musical memories. Note: Some events are free, others require a fee for parking or admission. Call ahead to be sure.

Macomb County

Summer Concert Series

Bring a chair, or a blanket, and kick back to some fun tunes across multiple genres. Note: Concerts are free but there’s a $10 vehicle entry fee.

Music on the Lake Concerts

Riversight and Sound Concert

Bring a cooler full of food and drinks to enjoy musical performances. Stick around after dusk to see the annual fireworks show.

There’s a Kidzone play area, complete with inflatables and games, in addition to the live musical performances. They happen rain or shine, so be sure to dress for the weather, and bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on during the show.

Oakland County

Summer Concert Series in Milford

Wild Summer Nights Concert Series at the Detroit Zoo
