Grosse Pointe Santa Claus Parade

The 43rd annual Grosse Pointe Santa Claus Parade on Nov. 24, 2017 is sure to get people of all ages ready for the upcoming holiday.

A much-loved holiday tradition, the Grosse Pointe Santa Claus Parade, will return this month for a morning of family fun and holiday cheer.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. sharp on Friday, Nov. 24, 2017, and will run for an hour down Kercheval, beginning at Lewiston in Grosse Pointe Farms, and ending at Cadieux in the city of Grosse Pointe.

The parade’s theme for the year is “A Fairytale Christmas,” and will feature floats that sport the the true meaning of Christmas with a magical twist.

You’ll also see a variety of community partners, businesses, multiple area high school bands, parade floats, balloons and more.

Kids definitely won’t want to miss the chance to see Santa Claus himself as he rides into town on his sleigh with Mrs. Claus. Santa will read a story to children after the parade (free hot cocoa will be served) and he’ll also be available to hear kids’ Christmas lists and take photos.
