Great southeast Michigan fairs and festivals go hand-in-hand with the autumn season – and the South Lyon Pumpkinfest is no exception. This year, celebrate the colorful, crunchy leaves and cooler temps with pumpkin-themed festivities Sept. 22-24, 2017.

The family fun ramps up at 10 a.m. on Saturday with the Pumpkinfest Parade, touting a theme of Halloween Heroes. Runners in the Pumpkinfest 5k will lead the parade.
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m., find the activity, game and merchant booths. Kids will definitely enjoy the carnival-style games. Swing by Millennium Middle School for the arts and crafts show, too, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
