Are your kids bored with typical Easter events? Kick your family’s celebration up a notch with two totally re-imagined egg hunts and fun with the Easter Bunny at Springfest at the Saline Recreation Center on March 31, 2018.
You won’t find your eggs in a bush or haphazardly strewn in a field at this event because the Easter Bunny chose to hide Saline’s eggs in the woods and a pool. That’s right – kids will take their baskets and search for both regular eggs and lucky eggs in the wooded area behind the recreation center during the Egg Scavenger Hunt at 11:30 a.m. Older kids seeking more of a challenge can hunt for eggs hidden in the pool during the Egg Dive at 1 p.m.
To make it fair, each hunt will be divided into groups. Ages 2-3, 4-5, 6-7 and 8-10 will hunt together during the Egg Scavenger Hunt while kids ages 6-8 and 9-12 can participate in the Egg Dive.
But that’s not all. The Easter Bunny will also be there to take pictures with the kids and will even sit down to have a slice of pizza with them. And there’s a Hippity Hop Trail packed with local businesses giving out loads of treats, too.
Saline’s Springfest takes place at the Saline Recreation Center starting at 11:30 a.m. Each event costs $8 in advance or $10 at the door. You can also purchase a combo pass, which will get you into both egg hunts, the lunch and the Hippity Hop Trail for $14 in advance.
