From not-so-scary to scream-inducing, here’s a look at some of the coolest Macomb County Halloween events in 2018.

The season of witches, ghosts, pumpkins and haunts is upon us – and whether you’re looking for a fright or some family-friendly fun this Halloween, there’s something for everyone in Macomb County.

Scarefest Scream Park

Can you handle the Castle of the Dead Haunted House, Forest of Darkness, Terror Zone Maze, Hayride of Doom and Survive the Night? If you do, stick around for adult-friendly fun at Club Terror Zone. Bring the little ones for a kid-friendly trick-or-treat hayride from 1 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 21.

Warning: this is not kid-friendly. This local apple orchard offers everything from a Zombie Paintball Safari to a dark cornfield maze and twisted fun house. See if you can find your way through the three-level haunted barn and mysterious black hole, too.

The haunted house and hayride are both intense and very scary – so this attraction is definitely geared at the older crowd. Still, brave kids under 12 can come along with mom or dad.
