Science matters. And we encounter it every day.
Don’t believe us? Then join Professor Ray, Jan. 6-7, 2018, for his Everyday Science: Mind Over Matter event at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum. It’ll feature tons of interactive educational science fun for the whole family.
First, learn about the three states of matter: solid, liquid and gas. Then, join the zany science wizard as he conducts crazy experiments to turn gas into liquids, solids into gases, liquids to solids and more.
You’ll even get the chance to see liquid expand 700 times until it explodes and figure out just how cold certain matter can get. How’s that for keeping your child’s gears grinding during the time off school?
If it sounds like a show your kid will blow their top over, you can find Professor Ray’s Everyday Science: Mind Over Matter on the Legacy Gallery Stage in the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, Jan. 6-7, 2018.
Shows start at 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It is free with museum admission, which is $12.50 for everyone ages 2-plus.
