Theaters Offering Concessions for Pick-Up

You may not be able to see the newest flicks just yet, but you can bring the movie-going experience to your home thanks to local theaters offering concessions for pick-up.

In order to protect the most vulnerable members of society from coronavirus, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has asked us to keep our distance from others and to stay home.

While a few months at home is a small price to pay for the health of others, it’d be a lie to say that life before COVID-19 isn’t truly missed.

Bars, restaurants and theaters in our area are closed. And a trip to the grocery store now requires a lot more prep than it did back in February.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t get a taste of what we enjoy. Bars and restaurants have been offering curbside or delivery options, and local theaters have jumped on that bandwagon, too.

If you’re missing date night at the theater, pick up popcorn, fountain drinks and your favorite theater candies from one of these local theaters, turn on Netflix (or check out some virtual screenings) and enjoy a true movie night at home.
