For three decades now, the Michigan Education Trust has been by your side, helping you prepare and plan for your child’s future college expenses. To celebrate this milestone, MET is giving away $30,000 to help even more children get a jumpstart on their future.
$3,000 for college
Sound good to you? Read on! A total of 10 lucky Michigan families are getting just that – $3,000 toward their children’s future education costs – as part of the “How We MET” sweepstakes, happening in celebration of MET’s 30th anniversary year. The contest kicked off in January and continues through September. MET is randomly picking lucky entrants to score $3,000 towards a pay-as-you-go pre-paid tuition contract – one per month and two in September, in recognition of National College Savings Month. That’s a total of $30,000 for 30 years of MET. If your child is between the ages of 0 and 17 as of Sept. 30, you’re eligible to enter. Don’t delay – enter by Sept. 17 at MET4College.com!
The 2018 enrollment period is open until Sept. 30. MET lets you buy in-state college credits at today’s rates in these three convenient ways:

Did you know?
When it debuted in 1988, MET was the very first state-sponsored prepaid tuition plan in the country!
MET is a state-sponsored 529 prepaid tuition plan that lets parents, grandparents, businesses and others prepay undergrad tuition for Michigan children. It’s a “529” plan, which refers to a federal IRS code that indicates it’s exempt from state and federal taxes. Learn more at SETwithMET.com.
