First Day of School Photo Gallery for Southeast Michigan Kids

No matter what school looks like in 2020-21, we all want success for our kids! Metro Parent and WCCCD are teaming up to celebrate kids with our back-to-school photo gallery.

The 2020-21 school year is already proving more nerve-wracking than in years past, but one thing stays the same: our desire to have our kids do their best and come out of the year successful. With all of the hustle and bustle of the new school year, coupled with this year’s added stress of deciding how to send your child to school, it can be easy to lose sight of that. That’s why Metro Parent and the Wayne County Community College District teamed up to create our first day of school gallery!

We’re welcoming metro Detroit and Ann Arbor parents to share their child’s first-day-of-school photos (we know you’ve got them!) and their wishes for their child’s academic year. Even if class is online, we love this tradition — and we think it deserves to keep going strong, even during a pandemic. Submit your child’s or children’s photos anytime from now until Sept. 31, 2020 to be included. Our gallery will then stay live for the rest of the year. Any time school gets tough, just click here to return to those first-day good feelings — and keep kids motivated to reach their goals!
