Cesar Chavez Academy

This program is run through the Cesar Chavez Academy District and provides classes that promote English reading, writing, and listening competency for those whose second language is English.

Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation

Adults are welcome to attend classes focused on reading, writing, listening and speaking, running 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays. Childcare is provided to students of these classes.

LA SED

The nonprofit Latin Americans for Social and Economic Development Inc. (LA SED) offers several programs for ESL and more. Whether you require beginner or intermediate classes, sign up here. Classes are 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday and Thursday. Registration begins in September 2017.

Southwest Counseling Solutions

Southwest Counseling Solutions has an English Language Learners Program (ELLP) for families who do not speak English for kids pre-K through third grade, and there are sessions for parents, too.

Wayne State University
