The 1970s documentary King: A Filmed Record ... Montgomery to Memphis, follows the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and plays today at 1 p.m. You'll aslo find MLK-inspired crafts starting at 11 a.m.
The theme this year for the MLK Day Celebration is, "This is America." The speakers include  Rashad Richey, University Professor, Lecturer, Broadcaster and Political Analyst and Maria Hinojosa, an award winning journalist and Executive Producer of Latino USA. Students of all levels will pour acrylic in their own unique way on to different surfaces such as coasters, small box, canvas and even a record to create a one of a kind masterpiece with instructor Sue Kimmen.

Kids, ages 7-18, will learn auditioning and acting techniques by working on monologues and skits. This workshop will help with preparing for an audition or just having fun on a Friday night! We offer a fun, friendly, casual, and noncompetitive environment. Registration required.
Running Start is an engaging, mentor-led, workshop-based approach to equip youth with entrepreneurial skills to start a business. Over a series of four workshops, middle- and high-school aged youth will come up with a business idea, test it, market it and finally, pitch it.
Dr. Joel Fuhrman returns to PBNSG to speak at our biggest meeting of the year. Fuhrman is a board-certified family physician and nutritional researcher. He specializes in preventing and reversing disease with nutrition. At this lecture, learn about the health risks associated with processed and fast food consumption.
