The speakers include  Rashad Richey, University Professor, Lecturer, Broadcaster and Political Analyst and Maria Hinojosa, an award winning journalist and Executive Producer of Latino USA. Come to this free event and learn about ways to identify gifted children from Dr. David Klimek, a psychologist specializing in the emotional development of gifted children.
Kids, ages 7-18, will learn auditioning and acting techniques by working on monologues and skits. This workshop will help with preparing for an audition or just having fun on a Friday night! We offer a fun, friendly, casual, and noncompetitive environment. Registration required.
Running Start is an engaging, mentor-led, workshop-based approach to equip youth with entrepreneurial skills to start a business. Over a series of four workshops, middle- and high-school aged youth will come up with a business idea, test it, market it and finally, pitch it.
