Enjoy a winter hike at the 44th annual event, but this year without the pancakes at the end. An adult hike begins at 9:30 a.m., a one-mile guided walk on the nature trails. At 10:30 a.m., families will hike through a half-mile of the forest. The program is entirely outdoors and face coverings and social distancing are required. Preregistration is also required by 4 p.m. Feb. 6.

Join Wolcott Mill Metropark to learn the history of one of the first crops harvested each year. Take a short hike to the woods where participants will learn how to identify and tap maple trees. Then, visit a wood-fired evaporator to discover how maple sap becomes maple syrup. Maple items and kits will be available for purchase. Tours begin every half hour, last approximately one hour and are entirely outdoors. Participants will walk about half a mile over uneven ground. Face coverings and registration are required.
