Enjoy a winter hike at the 44th annual event, but this year without the pancakes at the end. An adult hike begins at 9:30 a.m., a one-mile guided walk on the nature trails. At 10:30 a.m., families will hike through a half-mile of the forest. The program is entirely outdoors and face coverings and social distancing are required. Preregistration is also required by 4 p.m. Feb. 6.

Preschoolers ages 3-5 and their grown ups are invited explore their senses and imagination outdoors. Participants will walk along Reflection Trail near the Stony Creek Metropark Nature Center while searching for signs of animals, playing games, and doing fun activities along the way all related to the season. The adventure will start with a story by the campfire to spark each child’s curiosity about the world around them. Each month there will be new activities, stories, and exploration relating to the changes in the seasons. This program is entirely outdoors. Face coverings and social distancing are required.
