Macomb community and surrounding areas will be able to join in for the the first Make a Blanket Week Macomb in their attempt to make 500 blankets for kids facing extended stays in the hospital. Each day there will be different events to help make blankets.

On Saturday, January 15th from noon-3 p.m. at First State Bank, they will have their Blanket Kit Drive Thru open in the bank parking lot. If there are any extra kits still available, they will be available to be picked up at First State Bank starting on Monday, January 17th.

On Wednesday, January 19th at 6:30 p.m., join them for their Virtual Blanket Making Party where supporters can make blankets together, ask questions and have a chance to win some prizes!

OnSaturday, January 22nd from noon-2 p.m. will be blanket day drop off at the same location! There will be some dates to drop off your blankets after Jan. 22 inside the bank on Jan. 24-28, 2022.
