Ann Arbor Civic Theatre’s Junior Theatre presents the Disney musical, Aladdin Jr., directed by Denyse Clayton, May 10-12, 2019 at the University of Michigan’s Arthur Miller Theatre.

Performances are Friday at 7:30 p.m., with matinees Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $10/adults and $8/kids. You can also purchase tickets at the door of the theater beginning 45 minutes before each performance.

The stage version of the beloved movie musical, with book by Chad Beguelin, music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman, Tim Rice, and Chad Beguelin, will open up "a whole new world" for kids of all ages.

When down-on-his-luck street rat Aladdin and his friends find a magic lamp with a genie that grants wishes, Aladdin takes off on the adventure of a lifetime in order to earn the respect of Princess Jasmine. With familiar songs and characters, this is a great opportunity for family fun.
