Description
The American Civil Liberties Union turns 100 in 2020. To mark the historic milestone, the organization is hosting a two-day interactive exhibition in Detroit as part of a nationwide tour.
The event will bring together artists, change-makers, like-minded organizations, supporters and ACLU staff together to spark a deeper conversation about the challenging, high-stakes civil liberties battles of the nation’s past, present and future.
Visitors will have opportunities to participate in immersive experiences on immigration, voter engagement, the importance of voting rights and the intersection art and social justice. All are also invited to enjoy a vocal performance from the Mosaic Youth Theatre and a spoken word performance by Tawana "Honeycomb" Petty.
Advance registration required.
