Description
On Wednesday, July 10 at 7 p.m., join NASA educator and Cranbrook astronomer, Michael Foerster, as he covers the history of humans’ journey to space and the future of space exploration.
This session covers the small steps before the "giant leap for mankind:" the first rockets, first astronauts, first triumphs, and first tragedies. After the presentation, we will join local astronomers outside (weather permitting), who will share their telescopes to show off the moon and planets! Aimed at ages 9 and up.
