Celebrated writer and Detroit cultural icon, Marsha Music, presents her multimedia one-woman show, based off Nicole Macdonald’s The Detroit Portrait Series presents Black Bottom and Paradise Valley, which is currently featured in the Art @ The Max III exhibition.

Music’s collaborator, DJ Adam Stanfel will be on hand to spin vinyl, recreating the sounds that emerged from pioneering record-seller, Marsha’s father, and producer Joe Von Battle’s record shop and mid-century Detroit.
