Beaumont Medical Center, Canton, which is located at 7300 N. Canton Center Road, is hosting its second annual Family Safety Awareness Day to educate the community about injury and accident prevention.

The event will take place noon-4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 17. Activities and demonstrations include ambulance and helicopter tours, and a fire safety obstacle course. Be sure to complete the safety stations to receive a free bike helmet while supplies last – and be entered to win a bike.

You'll also get the chance to meet interesting people from the fire and police departments, Gift of Life, K9 units and LifeFlight of Michigan.
