Celebrate Black History and Black Futures features daily tours, live performances and hands on activities throughout February at Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. Families can explore stories of Black innovators, enjoy music and dance performances, browse a free Black Business Saturday market and take part in kid friendly programs like Tinkering for Tots. Parking is $9 for nonmembers and free for members.
Event cost: Free for members or included with museum admission. General admission $34 adults, $30.50 seniors, $25.50 youth ages 5-11, free for children 4 and under. Parking $9 per vehicle for nonmembers.
Event times: Feb. 1-28 during regular museum hours. Most daily programs begin at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. Special events select dates.
