Description
Families can donate handmade winter wear or take part in a beginner friendly sewing workshop to create fleece hats and mittens. Kids 12 and up can learn basic machine skills and make a pair to keep and a pair to donate. Parents should know all materials are included and the Makerspace is closed Mondays and Fridays.
Event cost: Free to donate; sewing workshop $45 residents, $50 nonresidents
Event times: Donation drop off Nov. 29–Dec. 20 during Makerspace hours; workshops every hour 12:30–5:30 p.m. Nov. 29
