Description

The Water Lantern Festival at Maheras-Gentry Park invites families to enjoy food trucks, live music, vendors and a scavenger hunt before releasing personalized lanterns onto the water. Kids under 8 get in free, and everyone can take part in decorating a lantern for the evening launch.

Event cost: $30.99 early bird, $37.99 regular, $57.99 at the gate; free for kids under 8 with paid adult ticket

Event times: 5-9 p.m. Sept. 6
