Description

Celebrate the Festival of Lights with a week of free, family-friendly pop-ups across Detroit. Enjoy dance and music performances, markets, art activities, workshops, and a community lighting ceremony. Most events are free; the grand-finale dance party is ticketed.

Event cost: Free for most events; ticket required for Bhangra in the D finale

Event times: Weeklong series, 6 p.m. Oct. 20–10 p.m. Oct. 25
