Emperor’s New Clothes at Little Door Theatre in Warren
Little Door Theatre
21045 Van Dyke Avenue
Warren, MI 48089
Have you ever done something simply due to pride or out of fear of what others might think of you? Hans Christian Andersen's The Emperor's New Clothes is a tale of an entire kingdom that ignores the obvious for fear of judgement, only to be called out by a child. In this story, the Emperor loves fine clothing. Two rogues, Roscoe and Flo, arrive in the city claiming to be the best weavers imaginable. They claim that the clothing they make is the finest with beautiful, intricate patterns. The rogues say that this clothing is also magical and would appear invisible to anyone who was stupid or a fool.... or are they?
Parking is available on the left hand side of the theatre between our space and the Baseline Feed Store, on the grass lot behind the theatre, in the municipal lot behind the liquor store across the street (along the brick wall only), or on the residential street beside the theatre. Please do not park in the lot that belongs to the Beer and Wine Store, they will tow your car.
