Description
Join Master Gardener Roxanne Plater to learn which butterflies are commonly seen locally such as the Monarch, Swallowtails (Eastern Black, Tiger, and maybe Spicebush), Painted Lady, and Cabbage White. She will also include an overview of the butterfly life cycle and what the eggs, caterpillars and chrysalises look like. Roxanne will also cover a little about the flowers butterflies like, and about the host plants they need for laying their eggs and feeding the caterpillars.
