The first African Methodist Episcopal Church of Farmington Hills presents the first Annual Juneteenth Commemoration & Oratory Scholarship Event in memory of Reverend John H. Burns, II on the grounds of Nardin Park UMC on Saturday June 29, 2019.

This event features musical performances by Alvin Waddles & Friends, the Trunino Lowe Quartet and many more, along with Juneteenth historians, story tellers, youth crafts, face painting, fare from Beans & Cornbread and Sweet Potato Sensations, hog dogs, ice cream and a variety of local vendors.

Please bring lawn chairs.
