Summer breezes may have finally blown away the winter storms in Michigan, but forecasts call for snow and ice in downtown Plymouth, June 27-30, 2019.

That’s when dozens of local children and teens will present six performances of the Broadway hit musical Frozen – or rather, a family-friendly, shorter version called Frozen, Jr.

Anna, Elsa, Olaf and the people of Arendelle will come to life with the help of more than 70 young performers from around the area, through Forever After Productions at the Plymouth Arts and Recreation Complex (PARC).

Suitable for all ages, Frozen, Jr. is 70 minutes long with one intermission. It’s based on the 2013 animated Disney movie and 2018 Broadway hit, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and dialogue by Jennifer Lee. It includes songs and characters from the original movie as well as new ones developed for the Broadway show.

Ticket prices are family-friendly, at just $10 for each general admission seat. They're on
sale now via www.iheartforeverafter.org or by calling Forever After Productions at 734-547-5156. All shows are predicted to sell out so advance purchase is advised.

Showtimes are as follows:

• 7 p.m. Thursday-Friday
• 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday
• 1 and 5 p.m. Sunday

All shows are at PARC, at 650 Church St. in downtown Plymouth, with free
parking available behind the building off Adams St.
