Description

Enjoy hands-on Halloween science fun, arts and crafts, live shows, and meet a pumpkin-throwing trebuchet at Cranbrook Institute. Costumes are encouraged, and families can experience everything from a ride in the planetarium to a bug-eating challenge. Pre-registration is recommended, but walk-ups are welcome for an extra fee.

Event cost: $23 members, $27 non-members, $5 more per person for walk-in attendees

Event times: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. or 2:30-5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25
