Description

Bring the kids and your pup for a fun 5K walk/run with the Detroit Police K9 team and DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan therapy dogs. Families can enjoy healthy tips for exercising with pets and meet the community’s furry helpers.

Event cost: Proceeds benefit the Detroit Public Safety Foundation (registration fee varies; check event site for details).

Event times: 8 a.m. check-in, 8:35 a.m. welcome, 9 a.m. race start, Sept. 20.
