Holiday Farmhouse Tours at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm

Description

The 1840 Van Hoosen Farmhouse will be decorated with boughs of holly, old Christmas cards, family gifts, community cookbooks and a 10-foot Christmas tree in the library.Pick up a sweet treat in the 1920s kitchen before leaving and glimpse into the historic landscape through historical images.

The Welcome Center has numerous videos and exhibits on local history and the 1840 Van Hoosen Farmhouse is a remarkable historic building that is beautifully furnished. Exhibits open at 12:30, tour runs 1 p.m.-2 p.m. Registration required by noon the Friday before you attend.
