This fun horse camp at RedWood Farm in White Lake is open to ages 7-plus and is a great intro to horses prior to taking riding lessons, or in addition to lessons. 

Those who sign up for this camp will get a 40-page workbook, instruction by a 20-year horse veterans and hands-on learning with gentle horses that are experienced with children and students.

Topics explored during this camp include Horse Safety, Care, Terms, Breeds, Colors, History, Sports, Parts of a Horse, How Horses Think, Horse Tack, How to Lead, Mount & Dismount, Reining, Turning and Walk & Trot.
