The Black Historic Sites Committee invites you to attend a "Re-Imagining Of Jazz" as interpreted by the rich vocal styling of Sky Covington. Join us as we close out Black History Month on February 28 with a performance from Ms. Covington, a native Detroiter, who is both singer and songwriter. Â She has won numerous awards, including "Outstanding Traditional Jazz Vocalist" at The Detroit Music Awards in 2018, for her jazzy vocals. Detroit Historical Museum will host this musical event
All proceeds from this event assist the BHSC with its goal to raise funds to erect and replace Michigan Historical Markers.
