Bertrand Tavernier’s 1986 American-French musical drama film Round Midnight stars legendary jazz saxophonist Dexter Gordon, François Cluzet and Herbie Hancock and captures the Paris jazz scene of the1950s. Martin Scorsese, Philippe Noiret, and Wayne Shorter appear in cameos. Following the film screening, jazz archivist and Dexter Gordon's widow Maxine Gordon will host a discussion and Q&A about the film.
