Sunday is Log Cabin Day in Michigan and both children and adults are invited to visit our 1880’s pioneer log cabin and imagine life in the pioneer days!

Meet at the Log Cabin for an historic hike or rest in the shade and enjoy music by Vintage Stringband while the children do chores and crafts, or listen to stories and learn about Michigan Mammals. We will also be giving tours of the 1870’s grist mill, demonstrating how the Parker family used water power to grind wheat and corn.

Children are invited to dress up in pioneer clothing for this day.
