Cantata Academy Chorale's beloved holiday concerts return to Berkley and Sterling Heights this December. This year’s program features brilliant Norwegian composer Ola Gjielo’s "Luminous Night of the Soul" with string quartet, celebrating the creative spirit in all of us.  A splendid array of carols and contemporary arrangements will tell the story of Christmas, not just in words but in soaring melodies.  Imagine the Nativity through the dulcet tones of a lullaby, a child’s innocent prayer and a stirring cello solo that evokes the desert trek of the Magi. Celebrate the gathering of people of all nations with a festive dance tune and a jubilant fanfare of alleluias. Add your voice to the merry chorus during our carol sing-along and Hallelujah Chorus finale.
