The 2020 festival will take place Friday, Aug. 28-Sunday, Aug. 30 and will feature programming throughout the weekend including live and virtual fudge-making demonstrations by the island’s world-renowned fudge makers, a special new fudge flavor reveal at May’s Candy Shop and an exploration of the history of fudge by the island’s Chief Fudge Taster Phil Porter.

Guests may also enjoy a series of all-day raffles and giveaways found onsite and an outdoor showing of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Saturday night at Fort Mackinac, at 8:30 p.m. Additional virtual events hosted on Mackinac Island Tourism social media channels include Fudge Facts Trivia, already accepting answers, and a recipe contest with sweet prizes.
