Description
Join Wolcott Mill Metropark to learn the history of one of the first crops harvested each year. Take a short hike to the woods where participants will learn how to identify and tap maple trees. Then, visit a wood-fired evaporator to discover how maple sap becomes maple syrup. Maple items and kits will be available for purchase. Tours begin every half hour, last approximately one hour and are entirely outdoors. Registration required.
