The second in an ongoing series of fine music concerts, honoring the memory of Mary Freed will take place at Holy Spirit Church on June 13.

Performing and recording artists, the Gene-n-Tonics combine the elements of the Great American Songbook with jazz, rock and fusion to take you on a musical journey from the 1920s to today. The core band members include Nic Cocco, guitar; Don Santilli, sax; Bobby C, bari sax, Karen Tomalis; drums, Roberto Warren on percussion and Marilyn Maxwell (AKA: Shuga) on vocals, produce an amazing array of sound and music that is tantalizing to audiences of all ages.

There is no charge for the concert.  It is planned that there will be three or four memorial concerts each year. Reception following.
