Artists respond to how mothering affects a person’s body, mind and identity; how motherhood influences creative work or vice versa, or to generally address the topic of motherhood as it pertains to them.

Artists may submit up to three original entries. Open to everyone. All media accepted, including but not limited to photography, ink, graphite, colored pencil, charcoal, paint, mixed media, fiber, stone, wood, metal, new media, ceramic, paper, collage, printmaking, glass, jewelry, performance, non-traditional, and more. No size restrictions.

An opening reception will be held at the Anton Art Center on Saturday, July 28 from 2-4 p.m. Awards will be announced at 3 p.m. Open to the public. Refreshments provided.
