Pirates meet Shakespeare! It's family fun when Ypsilanti Youth Theatre presents Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing,  March 16-18, 2018 at the Riverside Arts Center.

Set on a tropical island’s secret pirate hideout, the show features a giant sword fight, pirate songs, a wedding, a funeral, a party and more.

"All of our actors are school-age, 8-18," says director Rob Papineau. "They really get into our Shakespeare shows - the story is hilarious, full of zany characters!"

That includes a boatload of pirates, colorful island natives, a clueless bad Guy and the Night Watchmen .

"They're practically clowns," says Papineau.

Families will love this show, geared to kids 5 and up!
