June 1, 2019, is National Trails Day and what better way to celebrate than to hit the West Bloomfield Trail. Meet at Walnut Creek Middle School for a walk along our scenic and historic rail-to-trail network ending at Sylvan Manor Park. West Bloomfield’s naturalist will be on hand to engage in discussions about the wildlife along the trail.The Orchard Lake Museum, which is located along the trail, will also be open for visits and refreshments.

This walk is approximately seven miles. Buses will transport you back to the starting point. There will be return points throughout the trail if you don’t wish to walk the full distance. Refreshments and a limited number of free t-shirts will be given out.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. The walk starts at 8:30 a.m.
