Rochester College will host an Art Show and Design Challenge for high school students, Saturday, Feb. 10 from 1-5 p.m. at the Rochester College Theatre. Students can submit two pieces of art for the Art Show, which will be evaluated by judges for craftsmanship, engagement and meaning. The public is invited to view the art from 2:30-4:30 p.m., Feb. 10 in the Rochester College Theatre. For the Design Challenge, students will have 1.5 hours to complete a design that represents the chosen topic, determined day-of. A winner will be selected based on craftsmanship, effective use of medium and communication of the topic. First place will win a $50 gift card to Greens Art Supply, and second place will win a $25 gift card. Participation fee is $15/person. For more information visit: www.rc.edu/art.
