This free program provides an abundance of opportunities for your child to learn safety awareness in a fun and entertaining way.

At each Safety Town session, children will learn how to evaluate safe and unsafe practices when confronted with potentially dangerous situations, such as exiting a house in case of a fire, the importance of play safety and many other topics!

Guest speakers include the Ferndale Fire Department, the Ferndale Police Department, CED, Oakland County and other special guests. Using a child-sized mock Ferndale "town" explored on bikes, trikes, scooters or by walking, Safety Town will help better prepare children to care for themselves as pedestrians or bike riders.
