Description
The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan and the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation are hosting three community conversations about youth sports in our region.
Experts from the Aspen Institute will present State of Play: Southeast Michigan, an independent assessment of the state of play for kids and sports in the seven-county region. The recommendations in this first-of-its-kind dynamic report will be used to guide the conversations following the presentation. Parents, coaches, community leaders, and interested members of the public are invited to attend any one of these free events to learn more from the report and the discussion with peers. To view the full State of Play: Southeast Michigan report, please visit cfsem.org/stateofplay.
To encourage participation across the entire region, the same event will be repeated at three locations around Metro Detroit. The goal of these community conversations is to share ideas and identify priorities, so that all youth in the region have the opportunity to be active and benefit from sports.
Registrants are encouraged to choose the date and location that works best for them. The same information will be presented at each event.
Programming will begin promptly at the specified time. To register and find out more information, please visit cfsem.org/stateofplay.
