This, child-friendly rendition of the Nutcracker, presented by The Community House Dance Academy as well as several area dance studios, showcases the classic tale of young Clara (danced by Grace Buekers of Bloomfield Hills Middle School) and her favorite Christmas toy, the Nutcracker (danced by Joelle Lawor of Bloomfield Hills Middle School), which comes alive and, after defeating the evil Mouse King in battle, whisks her away thorough the Land of Snow and Ice to the magical Kingdom of Sweets.

More than 25 youth dancers and guests from southeast Michigan will join together to dance in this holiday favorite.
