The Sports Marketing Agency and the NFL Alumni Detroit Chapter host former NFL and NBA players, and community notables to join forces for a candid conversation to end the opioid epidemic.
The Sports Impact Luncheon will take place Wednesday, April 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the La-Z-Boy Center Meyer Theater and Atrium on the campus of Monroe County Community College, which is located at 1555 S. Raisinville Road in Monroe.
With Master of Ceremonies host Amy Andrews from Fox 2 News Detroit, this interactive panel spotlights former Detroit Lions legend Herman Moore, free agent Joique Bell, former NBA star Derrick Coleman and Dr. James Miller who share their experiences to area youth on overcoming obstacles while in the NFL and NBA and how addiction affects everyone.
