Description
The Underground Railroad in Michigan explores local and statewide history through a PowerPoint presentation and short guided night hike. Families with older kids will learn how Native American trails and Detroit played key roles in the Underground Railroad. Dress for the weather, as the half mile hike may include gravel and snow.
Event cost: $5 per person. $6 per person for out of county residents. Pre registration required.
