Join Cranbrook Institute of Science for their Women in Science Speaker Series featuring Dr. Jingmai O’Connor, the Associate Curator of Fossil Reptiles at the Field Museum, otherwise known as the “punk rock paleontologist!” This presentation will discuss the work of a paleontologist, how they understand extinct animals in surprising detail, and the life of SUE, the most complete adult T. rex currently known to science.
You will also enjoy complimentary refreshments, a signing of her new children’s book and free range to explore the museum, including SUE: the T. rex Experience. Pre-registration is required for this event.
